✨ Clinic Offerings ✨
with Crysta Brown
Whether you're hosting a riding club, breed association, university team, or private barn, every clinic is designed to help riders leave with practical tools they can use the very next ride.
No cookie-cutter lesson plans here. Every clinic is customized to the goals of your group while staying focused on building confident, effective horse and rider partnerships
-
These clinics are designed for riders who are ready to level up their riding, not just log more saddle time.
While Crysta enjoys teaching riders of every level, her coaching style is especially valuable for intermediate and advanced riders looking to improve their communication, biomechanics, maneuver scores, and overall performance in the show pen.
If your group is made up primarily of newer riders, we typically recommend building the weekend around our Four Pillars of Better Horsemanship. A strong foundation makes everything else easier, whether your goal is your first horse show or your next world championship.
Because let's be honest... nobody ever regrets having better basics.
For the intermediate to advanced rider we recommend a class based focus.
-
The best clinics don't try to cover everything.
We strongly recommend choosing one focus for your clinic. If your group has mixed goals, two complementary classes work well, but beyond that, riders often leave with information overload instead of meaningful progress.
Clinic options include:
Ranch Riding
Ranch Trail
Ranch Rail
Trail
Western Horsemanship
Hunt Seat Equitation
Showmanship
Western Versatility
English Versatility
The more focused the weekend, the bigger the improvements tend to be.
-
Every club has its own traditions, schedule, and rider numbers, and we're happy to build a clinic that works for your facility and your members.
That said, after teaching clinics across multiple countries, we've learned one thing:
Short session with fewer riders beat long sessions with many riders everytime.
Instead of putting ten riders into one session where everyone gets a few minutes of individual attention, we recommend smaller groups that ride multiple times throughout the weekend.
For example:
✨ Five groups of two riders, each riding an hour twice a day
instead of
Five to riders in a 4 hour session.
Smaller groups mean:
More individual coaching
More opportunities to apply feedback
Less wondering if that feedback was for you or soemone else
Bigger improvements by the end of the weekend
-
Every clinic is built around the riders in front of us, but common themes include:
Rider position and biomechanics
Creating softness and consistency
Maneuver execution
Pattern strategy
Show pen confidence
Understanding scoring
Warm-up routines
Problem solving for horse and rider
Building a better partnership
Whether you're chasing your first blue ribbon or trying to add another point to a 83, the goal is the same: ride with more feel, more confidence, and more purpose.
