We offer a range of options depending on how much support you want and where you’re at right now.
If you want feedback without overcommitting, you can start with Horse & Rider Audits, where Crysta reviews your rail work for a strong horse and rider foundation, broken down into clear, actionable fixes.
For more detail, Pattern Video Reviews dive deeper into a maneuver by maneuver guide of how to improve your go on pattern.
If you need direction, Competitive Roadmap Calls help you map out a plan to reach your goals without wasting time or entries.
For riders who want consistent, hands-on guidance, Live Video Lessons offer real-time coaching and accountability.
And if you want Crysta in person, clinics and show coaching are available to help you and your horse perform when it counts.
-
Start with a Horse & Rider Audit or Pattern Video Review so we can see exactly what’s going on and where your biggest growth opportunities are. From there, move into an online course to start understanding Crysta’s training method.
Once you’ve got some momentum, book a Competitive Roadmap Call to map out how you’re going to reach your goals without wasting time.
Then, if you’re serious about progressing, step into weekly Live Video Lessons for consistent feedback and accountability.
-
This program works best for riders who already have a solid foundation, you can walk, jog, and lope on a loose rein and are ready to step into more refined, show-ready skills.
If you’re still in the early, green phase, you can absolutely start with audits or course material to build that foundation. That said, Live Video Lessons are better suited to riders who are past the basics. Small delays with internet timing can make early learning more difficult when everything is still new.
If you’re not sure where you fall, start with a Horse & Rider Audit. It’ll give you a clear picture of where you’re at and what your next step should be.
-
Yes, but we need to be smart about how you start.
With tougher or unpredictable horses, timing matters, especially in situations that could become unsafe. Because of that, Live Video Lessons aren’t the best starting point. Even small internet delays can get in the way when precision really counts.
A better first step is a Competitive Roadmap Call. We’ll talk through exactly what’s going on, what you’re hoping to get out of your horse, and map out a practical plan you can follow.
From there, you’ll know what to work on, how to approach it, and when it makes sense to step into more hands-on support.
-
There are a lot of great trainers out there. The difference here is where the focus starts.
Crysta builds the rider first. You’ll get plain-English explanations that actually make sense, so you can feel what’s happening and adjust it in real time. When your position, timing, and balance improve, the horse follows. That’s how you create something that lasts, not something that only works on a good day.
Everything is grounded in the foundation of the 4 Pillars so you’re not chasing random fixes. You’re building a system that holds up across classes and situations.
Crysta Brown Horsemanship also removes barriers of accessibility. Not everyone can haul in for weekly rides, and not everyone is at the same budget or stage. That’s why there are multiple ways to work together, from audits and courses to live coaching, so you can get real guidance without the usual barriers.
It’s not about doing more. It’s about doing the right things, in the right order, and knowing why they work.
